Double Hung Replacement Windows
In
a double-hung window, the lower sash opens upward while the upper sash opens
downward, allowing for ventilation from both top and bottom. The screen removes
using a convenient lift rail, and both sashes tilt inward for cleaning.
Double-hung windows may be made as individual units or may be mulled together
in combination with other double-hung or fixed units. For security,
night-latches allow the window to be kept open a restricted amount for fresh
air.
